Poetry will offer an all-day dining menu that includes a variety of dishes for any time of the day, a specialty brew of coffee, a cold pressed juice bar and the most extensive dessert menu in town. So whether you are dropping in for a breakfast meeting, a quick lunch with the girls, or a midnight dessert with your significant other, this menu will ensure you go home cheerful and satisfied.


The menu at Poetry will comprise of an extensive selection of comfort food favourites as well as some innovative takes on a few of the classics, made from fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. The menu highlights dishes such as Portobello Panino; Quinoa & Fresh Vegetable Salad, and the classic Croque Monsieur, perfect for “the-day-after” brunch. For something a bit more experimental, Poetry offers dishes such as Mandarin–Meat Fruit made with chicken parfait and mandarin or the Chopped Black Kale Salad made with kale, almonds, aged Gouda with an anchovy dressing. Don’t forget to end your meal on a sweet note, with the largest offering of desserts in the city; choose from one of the 25 freshly baked desserts and pastries to tantalize your taste buds. A beautiful trinket like dessert counter takes its precedence in the centre of the café and will include some old favourites such as Red Velvet Layered Cheesecake, Crème Brulee and Lemon Tart. Some exciting additions to the dessert menu include the Strawberry Mojito, made with lemon almond sponge, strawberry confit and mint-lemon mousse; theWhitewalker, made with white chocolate, dark chocolate and a hint of orange; and the freshly made Banana Crème Brulee Pancake.



The beverage menu at Poetry includes specialty roast coffee beans, sourced from Ethiopia’s Guji region, which will snap you right out of your morning blues. Poetry will also serve a variety of freshly baked breads. Add that Almond Croissant to your double-espresso and you’re sure to fade away to your happy place. Poetry will also house a cold-pressed juice bar offering a blend of juices that are great healthy start to your day. Try the Wingman, a blend of celery, kale, apple, cucumber, ginger and orange, or the Breakfast Smoothie for a filling alternative to your morning meal.
Poetry spans across two levels, and boasts a bright and light interior.
